Narrow Escape

I didn't have mush time to tote my camera about today...infact..no time in the end. Todays plan was to go to canoe club meet and try and take some interesting shots there, but I had to rush away before it started.

However I did manage to quickly find it, switch on and capture this boat photo whislt shooting from the hip....(from the knee actually...either way, not framing it).

Quite happy with the result. I was starting to play about with cropping etc, but left it alone in the end. Mybe I'm making things difficult for myself, but whilst I'm learning the basics of photography I like to leave things be.
