strawberries and champagne

Took a few photos of our first ripe strawberries this afternoon and was invited back to a friend's new home for a beaker of bubbly this evening.

A double celebration really, as today Joe was offered a place at Riddlesdown, our first choice secondary school. So now he will be able to annoy Chloe on the bus.

A pretty good day!
