Clematis montana 2

This specimen flowers slightly later than my other one (which I think is the variety Elizabeth) and is a darker, double form, C. montana var. Broughton Star.

Just back from an excellent U3A science group meeting on Extreme High Pressures which included demonstrations with very loud bangs - may have upset the yoga group in the next room.
