Great Outdoorsing

I am pursuing a new hobby/line of voluntary work, and I've also roped in the help of my sister. Surveying bats. Tonight is my first of 4 Nathusius pipistrelle surveys, up round a random reservoir and then home again. Simple. Except we were ready to go, hours too early. To entertain ourselves until sunset - fire building. Woo! Minor panic about setting fire to the entire Pentlands regional park, and possibly getting banned from ever going outside ever again - but all was grand. 1km trek in diminishing light, then pitch black, avoiding the lake, and not bumping into any nasties, and just like that it was done. Only 3 more to do now.
Now then. Any more volunteers?
