Divisions Part III
So we actually had Divisions today! It was dry all day and we knew we were going to have it. We waited outside of the school playing ninja for about an hour. Then the first bus came and I waited for the next. It came ten minutes later and then we were off! The first bus got lost and got there five minutes before they started the 400 IH (Brendan and Michelle were in that). Oops. I only ran the 3200 today because Frazer wanted to see what I could run if I ran it fresh. It worked. I ran 10:48!!! Hedge was there and he congratulated me on my time. Everyone ran really well today, but I have to give props to Nesti (seen above). He's our best thrower. A lot of kids had to leave for the band concert for the relays so Nesti anchored the 4x100. He's actually pretty fast, especially considering his size. We lost but it was a valiant effort on his part. The girls came in second place in the whole meet and the boys (as of now) came in third, losing to Jericho by only one point. Frazer is going to count up the points tomorrow to see if they made an error anywhere. Overall, it was a very successful meet!
Word of the Day: Fungible - Interchangeable
I have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth - Umberto Eco
