After the rain... the sun shines through...
Been a wet few days here in NW NJ. This morning was nice and bright. So while it was still early I went for a look on the trail across the road from the house.
A wet few days and the low sun shiny down through the growth of greenery that has exploded onto the scene while we were in Florida meant there was going to be a lot of shiny wet greenery to shoot and that amazing earthy foresty smell that you get in the trees after the rain.
I saw a few deer through the trees passing back through on their way home/to work/to a party. Wrong lens on the camera though... pity...
Clouds kept passing over the sun causing little pockets of light to appear through the trees. The best shots always result from that uneven lighting giving the light and dark areas rather than everything being light or dark.
Had a look at some of the blips I have been missing due to lack of time to browse through all my favorite journals in blipland recently. You guys have been posting some great stuff while I havent been looking, I really need to try and keep up.
I hope to get a chance to check out more tomorrow and get a bit commenting done too... I know I can be a bit antisocial at times... actually antisocial implies I have something against being social... thats not true... perhaps socially inept would be a more apt phrase :-)
