Looking for tidbits
I was woken up very early by a very excited cat bouncing around my head. Whisky is happy that his human slaves are back at his bid and call. The guinea pigs and Omar were also glad of our return.
I spent the day catching up on some freelance work, tidying and watering the garden (the ground is hard as rock - I don't think it's rained since I've been away). In the afternoon, I walked to Brockwell Park with Fred where we had a coffee and met a master gardener who might have a home for the copious amount of compostable material that the guinea pigs produce. My compost bins are full to bursting so it would be good to find folk who could help me out. I don't wish to throw it away to landfill.
In the evening, I went to see my friend Si perform in An Experiment With An Air Pump, which was extremely thought-provoking and very well acted. I was particularly impressed with the scene in which Roget (of Thesaurus fame and played by Si) and Armstrong have a discussion while playing badminton. I was impressed because it was a small stage with the audience on either side and Si wasn't wearing his glasses. At no point did either actor fluff a line or a shuttlecock (or racquet!) hit an audience member.
My Denmark backblips will start appearing soon. As always, I have a lot of photos to work through!
