Zuiderzee Museum / Museum Park (Enkhuizen)

The Museum Park contains a miscellaneous collection of premises and object from the region around the former Zuiderzee, and gives an impression of what it was like to live and work in the period 1850-1932.

The barber is the hairdresser, and takes care of shaving the men. The hairdresser's is also the talking room. Most men allow themselves to be shaved once a week. While enjoying a good smoke, they tell tall stories or the latest gossip.
