Dibble Tree Theatre
I took my Mum out for her birthday last night. We had supper in a local hotel where the food was delicious and then onto the Dibble Tree theatre.
It's a tiny little theatre that seats 50, so each performance is up close and intimate.
We went to see The Paras over the Barras, an hilarious comedy by James Barclay.
It's set in Glasgow during WW2, and the story follows the lives of some larger than life characters as they go about their daily business whilst dealing with air-raids, food rationing, barrage balloons and the pain of parting by the men folk who go off to fight.
Full of typical Glasgow patter.
Wish I could recommend going to see it at the Dibble Tree, sadly it's been a sell out.
