Time for bed

This day of magnificent storms saw me get out of bed to look out of the window and discover it to be windy, wet and dull. I drove to the motorway to head north, and as soon as I hit it, the sun came out and there was blue sky all the way up to Birmingham.
I drove south after that and experienced some pretty dire weather near Sittingbourne and the M20 closed.

The hotel I'm sitting in in Sittingbourne sits on a busy road near a bit of the Thames estuary. I've finished sitting now, and I'm going to have a kip in this very comfortable bed. So I'll be lying in Sittingbourne now. Although I might try a bit of standing first.
