Sir Bani Yas Island

Half term for us and we have travelled to Sir Bani Yas Island, off Abu Dhabi, for a short break. This island used to be the playground of Sheikh Zayed, founder of the UAE, who entertained guests here and turned it into a nature reserve importing over 25,000 animals. Now, it has been turned into a hotel and eco-tourist destination. We're going on safari first thing in the morning so I should have something decent to blip for a change!

The hotel is excellent and I can't recommend it highly enough.
