Fir cones

Just got back from an evening walk with the kids, one of those random look out the window, see how nice it is, and just have to go out in it. So we took a wander down through the woods and back up through the fields, it was so lovely to see them running through the field hiding things for each other to find. Rowan found these fir cones and to see the look on his face you'd think he'd won the lottery, I love the way that children appreciate the little things so much, though the look on his face made me feel like I'd won the lottery too.
