as my last day in quito, i found myself having breakfast with a good friend who came to town last night to spend some final time together. running into someone who helped us during training. finishing some peace corps paperwork. exploring a bit around quito in the afternoon. and of course, eating all of my favorite ecuadorian foods!

while having a bit of a wander, i stumbled upon a little store full of art made with found and recycled materials. a really wonderful indigenous woman and her husband work together to make everything in the store, and they really do a great job!

so today i said farewell. bid adieu to the lovely ecuador
