While on my runs

Coxs Creek Reflections

Saturday. Wait for the sun to rise before heading out on my run. Provide S with coffee and the NZ Herald. Then out for the still obligatory run/jog. I passed Coxs Bay hoping for low tide (should have looked up the tide charts!), and little of the mudflat was exposed and there were no sea birds to be seen. If gulls were about they were flying.

Through the Park and into Coxs Bay reserve beside Coxs Creek. In early December, shortly after I joined blipfoto, I took a photo from the same place but with the tide more fully in. Also there was more cloud and less sun.

I like this one because of the stillness. Other days I go across the bridge that can be seen; it crosses a creek joining Coxs Creek as it turns sharp left to head out into the Bay, about 750 m away.

Later in the day S and I went north to view the building progress and visit with her mother. Absolutely fantastic to see just how much they have done in four days; all exterior so I will post something next week.

The fact that I am writing this shows that I am not expecting that Harold Camping's prediction was accurate. For a great photographic comment visit Tsuken.
