Public mini bus is one of the most common transports in HK, there isnt a bell to notify the driver to stop. All you need to do is to give him a shout about a mile before your destination. These buses dont usually have a fixed route, if there is a congestion ahead, the driver shouts out asking if anyone needs to leave the bus in the congested area before he seeks for an alternative route to the rest of the destinations.
