First Fledged

This House Sparrow is patiently waiting to be fed by a harrassed mum and dad. He and his 2 (or 3) siblings had a bit of a traumatic experience at the start of the week when their nest was moved (not by me - I would have waited until the breeding season was over) from an old shed that needed some repair work. The nest was put into a bush and despite parental panic they all appeared under the bird feeder today and seem to be flourishing. I didn't tell Mrs Blip as she would have been in a total panic.

Proves the point that all the expert tell us - if you see a young bird that looks lost leave it -as Mum and Dad are usually not far away.
