Black Pansies

Gardening day today. I've planted two hanging baskets, repotted a few plants and Gary has dug out an overgrown bit under a tree which was very untidy. The tomato plants seem to be coming on well, as do the chilli peppers & butternut squash though it's early days yet ;o)

Have also been back to the local garden centre for some special rhododendron compost as we've got one to plant in a half barrel - didn't realise quite how big it was (the barrel not the plant!). While we were there I saw these amazing black pansies, they looked like black velvet, really unusual colour.
