Blips been a busy day...

Today Mummy and Daddy Keen were awake before Baby Keen. Seeing as it was, wait for it, 9AM (!!!) we were a bit worried and we hadn't heard a peep from her, so Daddy Keen snuck in to check and she was quietly stirring and woke up shortly afterwards. It seems that these jabs have really knocked her for six - but I guess there could be worse side affects!!

We had a busy and fun family day today, despite Baby K beeing a bit under the weather. This morning we drove to Ashtead to collect a little tykes car that we had bought for her followed by some brunch in a nice Deli in Ashtead village. I had my favourite scrambled eggs and smoked salmon along with a croissant, all of which I kindly shared with Baby K. Daddy K had a brie and bacon panini and a cake - the cake he kindly shared with Mummy and Baby K!!

The plan was then to drive back towards home, Baby K to have her nap then go swimming... The drive to swimming we did. The nap however was elusive so we went swimming on a 10 min nap Baby K had succumbed to on the way out this morning.

Despite the lack of sleep Baby K LOVED it in the pool. She laughed her way through it and wasn't even fazed by the few times she dunked herself under the water.

She fell asleep in the car on the way home, and despite it being to late for nappage according to Mummy rules, we put her to bed and she woke up an hour before bedtime eeekkk.

We pushed the schedule back and Baby K played in her new car and helped to water the garden to use up excess sleep energy!!

She is now asleep and Mummy and Daddy are enjoying a nice glass of wine in front of the TV.
