Until it stops, we'll hear the drips and drops....
Today was the end of the World.
Apparently.
I'm not being glib about that.
I sat transfixed to the new at 6.15 pm, waiting to hear if in deedy Australia had been rocked by an Earthquake.
Had that happened, at that point I would have got in the car, and driven to Culzean Castle with Toolibelle to be with Si who is the only person who would save us from the Zombies who apparently were going to rise from the ground, and torture us until October 21st when the world would come to a complete stand still.
As it was, nothing happened. I've checked the news a couple of times since, and still no sign of anything out of worldy happening. So I had some cheesecake.
What it has done, all day, without drawing breath is rain.
It has rained, and rained, and rained, and rained, then rained some more, and a little bit more, and a wee bit more after that, and it's still raining.
This however is not other worldly.
This is because my husband has gone camping with 32 Scouts in canvas tents in a field. It has to rain, or it's not proper camping.
