Feeding time
We had a family of sparrows in the garden this morning.
A mum and six babies, although all of the 'babies' were the same size or bigger than her.
She took it in turns to go and get some food, bring it back and stuff it in their mouths.
They could all fly, as evidenced when they all scarpered after about half an hour of very noisy feeding. But clearly they didn't feel the need to use that skill to go and get their own food.
