Brunch

Finally managed to pin down a friend for a long overdue catch up today. Our destination was the East Tce Continental Cafe in the city - well worth the trip in for some yummy poached eggs. Try as i might, i'm never quite able to get them as good as a cafe. Perhaps they just taste better because i don't have to cook them!

Brunch was fabulous, J and i caught up on all the things that have been going on during the months we lost touch. The only thing that would have improved my morning was if the weather had co-opeated and NOT rained when i had planned to venture into the city gardens to take some pictures - oh well i'll just have to make another trip.

The rain also played havoc with my hair. Beautifully straight when i departed this morning, it now resembles a large ball of fuzz. Not at all happy about this.
