The cat came back

7 weeks later. Audi (As in audible cos she is, was, so talkative) has been missing for 7 weeks, I was convinced we wouldn't see her again, but Mrs E still had hope and was still putting a feed in her bowl. Today she came home.

She's been in a battle, I would guess for her life. A few new scars including the hole you can see in the ear. A bit of post traumatic shock methinks, she grew up with our lab who used to snuggle with her, now she's fearful of him and the other two , who she never liked but knew well and tolerated.

She has always been a feisty character, self confident and brash, chasing off any cat that came within cooey of the place. At ten yrs old she has become more cuddly and hasn't clawed anyone for ages. Today she was timid and cautious. But delighted to have a few cuddles.

Not sure how this will turn out.
