Load Test

What a huge day of work! I managed to get all the main beams cut, bolted and welded into place. Well, on one side of the garage anyway. Next weekend I will have to do it all again on the other side.

I managed to burn out a brand new drill trying to drill 13mm holes for my bolts. It had a 3 year replacement warranty so I took it back to the hardware store and after a lecture on correct drill usage, I walked out with a new one.

Not that I am worried about the workmanship, but I decided to sit up on one of the beams to see how it held my 100kg weight. The verdict? Rock solid.

I suspect I will pay for my efforts tomorrow. I am really tired now that it is all done.
