Leaving the light on

One of the joys of mooing house has been finding out what it's like to live here as the seasons change.

Finding out where the sun shines in the garden, where the wind blows strongest and where the rain does it's best to gather.

In recent weeks it's become apparent that this window needs a blackout blind. Especially when Mrs theWeir is back doing nightshifts.

It's glorious having 93 inches of light into our bedroom. But not quite to great for the 5:30 (or earlier) sunrises of Spring.
