Town of Waikairi

Today Dups, Katey and myself set out for the weekend to go to the Boyle, which is between Hanmer and the Lewis Pass for the purpose of 'fungi hunting and photography'. Dups and Katey had travelled from Timaru, and picked me up in Christchurch. We stopped off for some lunch at Waikari, a North Canterbury township servicing the farming community. This is a second hand shop, with old mowers out on the lawn. I am not sure what all the flags were about - but thought it added some color on such a lovely day.
