After the rain

A blip of the top part of my garden - lots of these lovely delicate yellow poppies (all self-seeded - I just leave them to get on with it) amongst the other plants & shrubs - hostas, aquilegia, periwinkle, ferns - and at the back is the Elder - from this tree I made some Elderflower champagne last spring & some delicious Elderberry syrup last autumn - it is delicious on Ice-cream!

I was just out enjoying the sunshine and thinking that I should blip these poppies with the sun on them, when the heavens opened and it poured rain & hail. The hail was bouncing. No sun since, so a slightly damp shot is what you get.
