In Memoriam
Up, and to the New Oriel Hall for a Pilates class. I took the opportunity as we waited for classmates to arrive to blip this memorial plaque on the wall of the Main Hall.
We had spent some time on the NOH management committee on deciding how best to commemorate someone who was a seminal influence in the transformation of the current building from a redundant and derelict Victorian-era infant school building into a local community centre for local people.
If the New Oriel Hall is a thriving, vibrant heart to the local community, it is in great part due to Ronald's efforts.
This is the plaque as it was finally realised. The plaque speaks for itself...
