Evan's 17th birthday

My dear and oldest pal's son's 17th birthday celebration dinner tonight - here with his sister, Grandpa, Gran and Mum.

As a girl I was 'adopted' as her Mum and Dad's second daughter and I was very lucky to have been taken with them on holiday every year, often for a month at a time, to visit exotic places such as France, Germany and Holland - a far cry from what I had been use to; Arran, Largo, St Andrews and suchlike...
