Red Poppy

This poor red poppy has only bloomed one day and the wind and rain has battered it to bits. Such a beautiful flower but only lasts for a very short time.

Today has been so windy it is practically impossible to do anything in the garden.Thank goodness the hanging baskets are not in place yet otherwise they would have been in some state.

Decided to go to the chippie for tea tonight as it is just the two of us!
