Ring of Truth...

This beautifully simple piece of metal is my mother's platinum wedding ring. She left it to me in her will and I have worn it since the day she died...

So, thought I'd do a Blip for it and noticed that alongside all the usual hallmarks, was stamped the word 'fidelity'. Is it a word associated with platinum?

Ironically, although single, fidelity is probably top of my list should I ever commit...
