Edinburgh Marathon

The kids and I stood and cheered on all those runners who were doing the Edinburgh marathon today. It was a mixed bag weather wise we had a bit of sun (although not too warm) lots of wind and rain too. They really had everything thrown at them.

We saw the elite runners, the club runners, the charity runners, all those runners you see out pounding the pavements as you drive around the town all digging deep and going for it.

I took loads of pictures, but this is one of the last shots I got. As we were walking back, our hands numb from clapping and the cold, I spotted one of the official photographers, he had been there before us and was going to be there long after we had gone. I did feel for him, but it made me smile too!
