Who's an Ugly Duckling!

Finally got some time to return here and see how the swans were doing.

Six healthy signets all doing well.

Sadly the pair of Black Swans have left their nest with no offspring. Now occupied by Mallards. The nest is on a small island surrounded by water so not sure what may have happened as too remote for foxes or badgers. Maybe a crow or Magpie got the eggs during a brief absence
