I'm told it's wrong to anthropomorphise our pets, but Lil has learnt to use her large vacant eyes and luxurious tan eyebrows to full effect, and I strongly feel that to accuse her of emotional blackmail is not far from the truth. I cannot help but feel that the effect is somewhat undone by the drippy nose, although I did not notice that at the time.

Here, my wife was preparing a meal (that included meat) and having to face the full force of Lil's rigorous communication skills ( Hungry, hungry, HUNGRY!). Fortunately for me Lil failed.
