25 years
since #2 son was born. The middle of the night in Inverurie Maternity Hospital (now flattened and a car park). We drove to the hospital, even although it was only 5 minutes walk up the road. He was born so quickly, before Anne, the midwife, could get her greens on and well before Vic Johnstone (the doctor) arrived. I always said he 'fell out'. Happy, happy days.
Today was happy too as I took A and girlfriend C went for a birthday meal at Papilio and we reminisced about #2 son's strops. Good we can laugh about it now. That and being able to spik the Doric. This is them trying to decide what to have to eat.
25! How can he be 25, seems like yesterday?
Went to church this morning. The anthem was Rutter's 'All Things Bright and Beautiful' which I sang at Jenny and Liam's wedding in '07. More happy memories.
Good day. Only regret, that #2 son wasn't able to celebrate with mum and dad, as it should be, but that's not my choice.
