balance beam routine

this little guy was moving quickly - back and forth - up and down... just like the best champs in a complicated balance beam routine do. it was clear there was no interest in wanting me to capture him... the only motive was in getting away from me as fast as possible. it almost worked...

i also found out that a bush i was interested in is really a choke-cherry bush and has the most interesting looking flowers on it. apparently then, little cherries form allowing you to make choke-cherry jam... should be cool to watch... not the jam part, the cherries coming forth. this was imparted by a very old couple who was on the path walking by me...holding hands - he talked, she only shook her head in agreement with him. he had practically no teeth left, a toothpick in his mouth and a jean jacket on... she was gripping his hand like there was no tomorrow... so cute. they must've been in their 70's. great to see them out and about.
