birthday cake

Tomorrow it's Teacher's Day at my kids' school. This means all teachers celebrate their birthday on this day and most of the day, the whole school gets to play a lot of fun activities. Each class will have a birthday cake for their teacher. The parents are allowed to stay after drop off for about an hour to join in eating the cake. I volunteered for my duaghter's class. I haven't made a cake this big (8"x12" or 20x30cm) for a long long time. I forgot how long it takes to bake it all. It took me 4 skewers (I used Korean metal chopsticks) and an hour extra to finally have it ready. I hope it tastes alright. We'll find out tomorrow.
