Ariki Cotton

An early morning run today, starting and finishing in the dark. Did get an eerie picture of the Morningside Railway Station, totally deserted in the fog.

However, this afternoon I decided to use the lunch break in my teleconference to take a macro of the burst open cotton boll on S' cotton plant on the deck. Mr H has been suitably interested and fascinated that the fibres which make so many of his clothes come from plants like this.
