Mandarins

It seems weird that in New Zealand we eat strawberries at Christmas. The mandarins come out in May until August. I still find it strange that those are Mandarin months.

I also find it odd that I work out my year based on what fruit is available. I hadn't realised that until just this moment that I did that. I guess fruit must be pretty important in my life.

I had a busy day at work and then Mass. Good company for tea. The gas ran out half-way through cooking but B saved the day with a camping stove that finished the job.

Off to bed now.
