What a miserable day!

Here I am wrapped up in a towel after my walk this afternoon. It was sooooooo rainy & windy. We got blown to bits.

Today has been fairly quiet. Mum took me on a lead walk only this morning. She said I am going to have lots more lead walks until I learn to do it properly. It was actually ok. I didn't mind too much. I only refused about 6 times which is better than normal. When we got back mum was happy with me so we had a dance around the kitchen to a bit of Usher!! We have got some good dance moves :-)

This afternoon I thought the walk was going to be boring again but guess what, we bumped into my gentle giant friend Dillon. The Bassett Hound crossed with a Bull Mastiff. We went to the field and had a really good play. I was trying to get him to chase me but he kept lying down until I ran up to him, then he would get me to chase him! Honestly, mum told me boys are meant to do the chasing, but not Dillon!

I got very very wet rolling around in the grass in the rain with him but I had so much fun I didn't care. Then I walked on my lead back up the river path to the car. It took a while because I really didn't want to go that way. Mum was just about to give up & let me off the lead to run free when she saw the swan with her 8 cygnets, in the long grass. The swan did a big hiss at us so we carried on quickly. Mum was glad she didn't let me go, she said I would have got into terrible trouble with the swans. we couldn't even stop to take a photo because they were very hissy.

I'm very tired & damp. Time for me to dry off on mums lap! Tee hee ;-)
