Globe mosaic

This is a frankly nutty sculpture which sits outside The National Archives in Kew. It suggests that the archive is full of maps showing mythical creatures inhabiting far-flung corners of the ocean - which it isn't. There might be a hundred or so of these, but not many more.

My ideal blip from work would be the resident heron standing on top of the globe!!!
