Wind in the trees.
The day has been dominated by weather for me. It is critical for progress on projects with outside work and I have a couple of these at the moment.
My own little dormer extension did manage to get the lead flashings, fascia and soffit done around the roof line, despite the pouring rain and gale force winds. Amazing really and testament to the determination of the tradesmen.
We have lots of tree branches and debris on the roads now and it is really quite hazardous to be out there.
My other weather dependent job involved roughcast and that had to be postponed.
So I wanted to do a blip that reflected the weather but found it quite difficult. I finally braved the rain and found a reasonably stable fence post to lean against and took several shots of the trees blowing all around themselves. It was difficult to keep the camera dry and I am very protective of my equipment so the session was cut short in the hope that one of the early shots would be acceptable.
The result is the image above, in mono as the colour was rubbish. I am not blown away by it, but it does show the intense motion of the branches reasonably well.
I am going to dry off now.
