Still strutting its stuff

The fishermen and fishwives may be long gone but it seems The Peacock Inn in Newhaven is still serving freshly-caught fish almost 250 years after it first opened its doors.

We took my mum and dad there for tea and the food was amazing. Having just re-opened after a major facelift it now boasts a snazzy interior but this sign betrays it's sense of history.
