Monday Blooms

The best way to deal with Monday is with a bloom :)

This is one of the shortest bloomers that I have. It's the bloom off the tulip poplar tree. The tree is already on the downhill of blooming. I was reading a little bit more about this tree and found out it's is a member of the magnolia family. It does have some showy blooms.

It seems like several blip friends the world over are battling this furious spring weather. My heart does go out to the people of Joplin Missouri who took a ferocious hit from the latest tornado.

Maybe things will calm down soon.
