Today was a beautiful day

Why?

The sky was blue.
I wore sandals.
I got a terrified little boy to float on his back in swimming lessons.
I went on two adventures with my camera.
I woke up an hour before my alarm clock, and I was happy.
I had cookies for breakfast, a piece of cake for lunch, and more cookies for dinner.

I have wonderful people in my life that I adore.
I got to watch an old man fish.
I stood on the pier shivering as the sun was setting, and I wouldn't have asked to be anywhere else at that moment.

My life is beautiful.
I can't stop smiling.
