Yes We Eat No Bananas

Bananas are currently selling for about $13 a kilo here in Adelaide, a consequence of the floods in Queensland. I haven't eaten a banana in months. Not at approximately $3 each.

Australia does not import bananas as a means of supporting the local industry. It is a high price to pay for consumers.
