NYC

Ellie and I arrived in NYC around midnight on Saturday night. Instead of keeping her in the airport for a long layover, I decided to meet up with some friends and take a later flight on Sunday to Pittsburgh. I met up with Lindsey and Meredith in the airport and we all took a cab to Tom's apartment. It was so nice to see them!! I haven't seen most of them for a year now... how horrible is that?!?

Lindsey and I slept on Tom's futon with Ellie. The next day we got up and walked around the city near and through Central Park. Ellie was so overwhelmed with people that she pulled me all over the place, but other than that, it was a wonderful day. We got a nice brunch at Community and then walked to Columbia (where Tom is now taking classes). I had to say goodbye around 4:30 and head back to the airport. It was a nice break from traveling though!
