Don't Rain on My Parade

The RAF marched through Forres today for the final time, after over 70 years at Kinloss. Prince Philip is at the base on Thursday for the disbandment parade.

It started to pour with rain just as the parade came through the street, and the expected fly past of the Tornado GR4s was cancelled due to the ash cloud!

The car was looking pretty grey this morning, with a fair dusting of ash. I carefully cleaned it this afternoon between rain showers. Managed to add a scratch to the side though.

The sun has come out now though, so I'm heading through to my folks' conservatory... to watch the rain. The Scottish summer - you cannae beat it!
