Going, Going....

Gone. Mitch and Tina have at last decided to have the palm tree in their small front garden cut down. It was an American palm and had a huge trunk and was at least 5 metres high. The gardeners cam this afternoon and proceeded to cut it down. As you can see health and safety is paramount .. no hard hat or scaffolding, just crampons on the boots, a rope fixed to a karabiner round his waist, hoist the chain saw up on a lenght of rope and away you go.

They only charged 250 euros, tomorrow they come along and take the debris away.
