Summer at the beach bar

Today it has been very hot and sunny. Such a change from yesterday. My owner, Ann, only works until 3pm on Tuesdays so I had more than an hours walk this afternoon and ended up at the office at 5pm. Ann wanted to go and drink wine at the beach bar and she knew that at least one of her colleagues would go with her.

This is a blip of me & Denise. I'm not allowed on this beach until after 7pm but I was quite happy to lie at the beach bar, especially since I had a huge bowl of water all for myself. I got a bit stroppy when a skateboarder dared to walk past me ............. he got off his skateboard and made friends with me. However when he walked away I woofed at him. Ann was cross with me. She says if skateboarders are good enough not to skateboard past me I should be good enough not to go mad at them if they are only carrying their skateboards. Grrrr ..... I don't like skateboards.

Ann says why would anyone want to go abroad for their holidays when they have a fantastic beach & view like this? On days like this, living in St Ives, is like being in the Mediterranean. All the beaches - Porthmeor, Porthgwidden & Porthminster have extended their cafe seating areas this year and have got licences to sell alcohol.

Fabulous - Ann says she's going to be taking me out for drinkies lots this summer!
