The Green Monster

Today, cover a function on 6th Foundation Day of Mega Manipur School, Yaralpat, Imphal East District with Amu. The girls(students) are performing the spectacular Kabui Dance where background drumming and singing is traditional and the dancers dance to the beat.

Because of the rains, the outdoor stage and hall have been roofed and there were only two small stage lights of the yellowish green colour - casting their colours on a narrow spot. While shooting groups, if someone happens to fall under this light, he'll turn like a green monster or a light green goblin whilst the rest of the others are fine. Correcting the WB only works for that particular area, and the rest thrown to some bizzare coloring!

So, decided to use the flash units with gel filters to supersede everything in sight.
